Executive Team
Our management team consists of the following individuals whose backgrounds include over 100 years of business development, marketing and sales experience with AT&T, Lucent, Alcatel, AFC, Global Crossing, Frontier Communications and One Communications.
President/Owner
Mr. Williams is a graduate of Bucknell University (BSBA) and the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Rochester. Prior to PICS Telecom Mr. Williams founded Williams Energy Systems was a VC Manager with Oliver Capital and the VP of Mergers and Acquisitions with Chase Bank.
Mr. Williams founded PICS Telecom over 18 years ago and has built it into a premiere provider of supplier of secondary telecom equipment and investment recovery services. Mr. Williams is married with three children and resides in Brighton, NY.
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Insero is a 1985 graduate from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a BA in Accounting. Prior to joining PICS Telecom, she spent twelve years as a CPA in public practice with a large regional accounting firm in upstate New York.
Ms. Insero joined PICS Telecom in 1997 as the company’s CFO. In addition to her role in overseeing the corporate finances, she is also responsible for the management of certain Investment Recovery customer relationships. Sharon led the effort to standardize various policies and procedures that qualified PICS Telecom as a certified ISO 9001:2000 organization. Sharon is married and resides in Rochester, NY.
Chief Information Officer
Mr. Girolami is a graduate of the University of Rome, Italy in "Economia & Commercio" and holds a BS degree in Computer Sciences & Mathematics from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. In 1992 Mr. Girolami co-founded Softech, a technology company specializing in software development and IT staffing. In 1998 he becomes Vice President of IT at NewWave, a consulting company specializing in network implementations and the development of web based ERP systems and solutions for the telecommunication, transportation and advertising industries. During his career, Mr. Girolami has brought to the market services such as TimeReporting.com and the Internet Career Exchange (ICE).
Mr. Girolami has joined PICS in 2008 as the company’s Chief Information Officer to establish and lead information technology initiatives and enterprise IT systems to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development.
Mr. Girolami is married with one child and resides in Brighton, NY.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Mr. Atkins joined PICS Telecom in 1997 to establish a professional sales force and develop a coherent marketing plan. Mr. Atkins began his career in 1975 working in sports promotion and later consulted in the computer software industry providing due diligence on software start-ups for the venture capital community. In 1986 he was brought in by Xerox’s Venture Capital group and helped to co-found a software spin-out of Xerox PARC called Microlytics.
Mr. Atkins received a BS degree in Marketing from San Diego State University and is married with three children and resides in Pittsford, NY.
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Clark has a degree in Business and an Associate Degree in Civil engineering. Before joining PICS Telecom in 1996 Mr. Clark spent 19 years with different construction companies including R C Siebert, Riedman Corporation, James L Garrett and Wilmorite Corporation.
Mr. Clark is Vice President of Operations which includes all the warehouses operations, de-installation activities and managing the test lab. Mr. Clark is married with two children and resides in Rochester, NY.
Director of Asset Management & Vendor Sales
Mr. Merrill is a graduate of Michigan State University (BS in Mechanical Engineering) and the University of Michigan (MBA - Finance) and has been in telecommunications industry since 1978. During the last 30 years Mr. Merrill has spent time with General Telephone (GTE), NECA, AT&T, Rochester Telephone (Frontier) and One Communications. Mr. Merrill was one of the original founders of Choice One Communications and was responsible for all their M&A activities.
Mr. Merrill joined PICS Telecom in January 2004 as the Director of Asset Management Services. Mr. Merrill is married with three children and resides in Rochester, NY.
Director of Investment Recovery
Mr. Brodie is a graduate of Merrimack College (BS in Business Administration) APEC certification from University of Lowell. Mr. Brodie has spent over 25 years in telecommunications, working for AT&T and Lucent Technologies. His scope of responsibilities included, Project Manager, Product Manager, and Business Developer for transmission and switching products. He was Project Manager for the first fiber optic transmission deployment from NY, to Washington, as well as the Project Manger for the ADT (all digital transmission).
Mr. Brodie joined PICS Telecom in September 2001 as Director of Investment Recovery Services. He is married, has one child, loves to ski and lives and works out of Georgetown MA.
