PICS Telecom International Warehousing Services

As equipment is received at the PICS Telecom International facility, a complete inventory is taken to the component level. Information includes manufacturer part number, HECI code, quantity, description and customer specified reference number. All information is input into PICS Telecom International's proprietary computer system.

Telcordia Based Inventories

Telcordia® COMMON LANGUAGE® Equipment Information Service provides a consistent, meaningful and unique method of identifying equipment, its capabilities and its classifications. Telcordia’s Common Language Equipment Information Service gives PICS Telecom International an ongoing and OEM specific equipment identification solution that constantly evolves as technology evolves. It solves the need for consistency in the way that service providers identify their equipment and related capabilities in their systems.

Receiving/Reconciliation Reports

As items are received at PICS Telecom International receiving reports are sent to our resale partners so they can verify receipt. Reports are also available on-line 24x7.

Spares Management & Redeployment Program

  • 100% Network Uptime -- PICS Telecom International's Spares Program is designed to enable service providers to maintain 100% network uptime with an onsite replacement of failed network equipment.
  • Customized Solutions -- PICS Telecom International can customize the Spares Program to meet our customer’s specific needs. That includes choice of warehousing options, testing, refurbishment, repair and logistical support.
  • Offsite Storage -- Spares can be co-located dedicated, secure, climate controlled, fully insured, PICS owned and operated facility ready to be shipped to the site.
  • International Coverage -- With warehouses in the US and UK, PICS Telecom International can store the spare equipment at its own facilities within the close proximity of the service providers network.
  • Onsite Engineers -- PICS Telecom International certified engineers are on-site and can quickly test, refurbish and repair failed parts.
  • Refurbished or New Equipment -- PICS Telecom International can offer both refurbished and new equipment as spares (when needed). Use of refurbished equipment will reduce the total cost of the spares program.
  • Restocking Services -- PICS Telecom International can establish and maintain "minimum" stocking levels for critical spares.
  • Repair Services -- PICS Telecom International will facilitate the repair of the failed unit or offer a replacement item.

Our repair capabilities include the ability to repair used telecommunications equipment from such manufacturers as ADC, Adtran, Alcatel, Carrier Access, Ciena, Cisco, Lorain, Lucent Marconi, Nortel, Telco Systems and Tellabs.
