Our comprehensive inventory management services include:
Warehousing Services. As we receive equipment, we take
a complete inventory down to the component level. The information
we document includes manufacturer part number, HECI code, quantity,
description, and customer-specified reference number. Then all
information is entered into our proprietary inventory-management
system.
Telcordia®-Based Inventories. Telcordia® COMMON LANGUAGE®
Equipment Information Service provides a consistent, meaningful,
and unique method of identifying equipment, its capabilities, and
classifications. It gives us an ongoing and OEM-specific equipment
identification solution that can evolve along with the technology.
It provides much-needed consistency in the way that service
providers identify equipment and related capabilities in
their systems.
Receiving/Reconciliation Reports. As equipment
arrives at one of our international facilities, receiving
reports are sent to our resale partners for verification.
Reports are also available anytime online at
PAMS (PICS Asset Management Services).
Spares Management and Redeployment. This valuable
program offers:

• 100% network uptime. This program is designed to
enable service providers to maintain 100% network uptime,
with on-site replacement of failed network equipment.

• Customized solutions. We can customize the program to
meet your specific needs—including your choice of warehousing
options, testing, refurbishment, repair, and logistical support.

• Off-site storage. Spares can be co-located at our
dedicated, secure, climate-controlled, fully insured, PICS-owned
and operated facility, ready to be shipped to your site.

• International coverage. With warehouses in the U.S.,
U.K., and Hong Kong, we can store the spare equipment at our
own facilities within close proximity of our service provider's
network.

• Refurbished or new equipment. We offer both
refurbished and new equipment as spares (when needed).
Using refurbished equipment helps reduce the total cost
of the spares program.

• Restocking services. We can establish and maintain
“minimum” stocking levels for critical spares.

• Repair services. We will facilitate the
repair of the failed unit or offer a replacement item.
