PICS Telecom - Reused Telecoms Equipment

As we move into the second half of 2022, PICS Telecom is excited to announce a new exciting collaboration with Big Blue Ocean Cleanup alongside successfully receiving the 0% Landfill certification from Valpak.

“Big Blue Ocean Cleanup is one of the world’s leading ocean cleanup non-profits. We help keep the oceans clean, establish marine nature reserves, protect vulnerable marine animals, provide free educational resources, research ocean pollution for policy change and support the development of innovative technologies.” – Big Blue Ocean Cleanup

» Alongside the reduction of environmental damage that is facilitated through PICS’ service model, PICS further looks at how its value proposition can be expanded.

The regeneration and preservation of our environment are integral when creating a cleaner, greener system. This is where value-driven partnerships such as PICS’ exciting new collaboration with Big Blue Ocean Cleanup, alongside PICS existing partnership with One Tree Planted come into play, as we continue to collaborate in order to help reduce » reuse » recycle, and » regenerate.

This partnership will sit alongside PICS’ industry-leading Investment Recovery / Circular Service model, enabling PICS Telecoms’ global partners to not only effectively manage, reduce, reuse and recycle surplus network equipment in an environmentally sound manner, but also assist in the development of regeneration, restoration and clean-up projects both on land and water.

Further to this, on request, PICS x Big Blue Ocean Cleanup will be able to provide granular campaign insights such as the location of ocean plastic removal alongside plastics removed / recycling breakdowns.
