Human Rights and Anti-Slavery Statement
Effective Date: 25th November 2024
Issued by: PICS Telecom Corp
Our Commitment
PICS Telecom is committed to conducting business ethically, transparently, and responsibly.
We respect and uphold internationally recognized human rights standards and are committed to preventing all forms of modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain.
Our purpose — to power the circular economy in telecom — depends on integrity and respect for people and the planet.
We take this responsibility seriously across every aspect of our business.
Scope and Responsibility
This statement applies to all companies within the PICS Telecom Group, including our global offices, warehouse facilities, and field operations.
It also extends to all individuals working on our behalf, including employees, contractors, and suppliers.
Responsibility for compliance and oversight rests with the Executive Leadership Team, supported by the Sustainability & Compliance Department, which monitors policies, training, and supplier due diligence.
Our Policies
To safeguard human rights and prevent modern slavery, PICS Telecom maintains and enforces the following policies:
- Human Rights Policy – grounded in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
- Supplier Code of Conduct – requiring suppliers to comply with labor, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ethical Sourcing Policy – ensuring materials and equipment are sourced responsibly.
- Whistleblowing Policy – providing safe, confidential channels to report concerns without retaliation.
- Diversity and Inclusion Policy – promoting equality and fair treatment across all regions and operations.
Supply Chain Due Diligence
Our supply chain spans telecom operators, OEMs, recyclers, logistics partners, and material processors.
We work only with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to ethical conduct.
We require all suppliers to:
- Acknowledge and comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct.
- Adhere to all applicable labor and human rights laws.
- Demonstrate transparency in sourcing and labor practices.
- Permit audits or assessments where necessary to verify compliance.
Training and Awareness
We provide regular training to employees and managers to help them:
- Recognize indicators of forced labor or exploitation.
- Understand reporting procedures for any suspected breaches.
- Reinforce our zero-tolerance stance on human rights violations.
Risk Assessment and Continuous Improvement
We assess risk exposure across our operations and supply chain annually, focusing on:
- Geographic regions and sectors with elevated human rights risks.
- New suppliers or subcontractors entering our ecosystem.
- Ongoing evaluation of existing supplier compliance and ESG performance.
We continuously refine our controls, auditing processes, and partnerships to strengthen transparency and accountability.
Our Zero-Tolerance Approach
PICS Telecom will not tolerate any form of slavery, forced labor, or human trafficking.
If any supplier or partner fails to meet our ethical standards, we will take immediate action — including suspension or termination of the business relationship.
Approval and Review
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the PICS Telecom Group’s annual statement on modern slavery and human trafficking.
It has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed annually.
