Terms of Sale
Definition of Refurbished Equipment: Refurbished equipment refers to previously used telecom network equipment that has been inspected, tested, and repaired to the best of our ability to ensure it is functioning properly.
Warranty: All equipment supplied by PICS Telecom is covered by PICS’ comprehensive warranty.
Payment: Warranty is only valid if payment for the equipment has been made as per the agreed payment terms.
Title and Risk of Loss: The title to the equipment will pass to the buyer upon receipt of full payment. Risk of loss or damage to the equipment will be the responsibility of acceptance of goods by the buyer.
Return Policy: Any returns due to physical defects must be reported to PICS within 30 days of acceptance of goods by the buyer. Failure to report physical defects within this time frame will not be covered by PICS’ warranty.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or interruption of business. Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the equipment.
Governing Law: These terms of sale will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of the United Kingdom without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Entire Agreement: These terms of sale constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the sale of refurbished equipment and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.
PICS EMEA Warranty
“PICS Telecom provides a standard 1 year advanced replacement warranty for all equipment sold by our company. (longer warranties are available – speak to your account manager) This warranty guarantees that in the event of a defect or malfunction of the product within the specified 1 year period, the product will be replaced with a similar refurbished unit at our discretion. The customer will be responsible for assisting PICS with the return of the faulty goods at PICS’ cost.
This warranty does not cover any software or software-related issues and it also does not cover any damages caused by external factors such as power surges or user negligence. Any repairs needed due to normal wear and tear of the hardware will be covered under this warranty.
Any returns due to physical defects must be reported to PICS within 45 days of acceptance of goods by the buyer. Failure to report physical defects within this time frame will not be covered by PICS’ warranty.
To claim the warranty for faulty equipment, the customer must contact PICS Telecom within the warranty period and provide a proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem. The warranty period starts from the date of shipment and is non-transferable, only valid for the original purchaser.
PICS Telecom reserves the right to void the warranty in case of physical damage or evidence of misuse or abuse. The warranty applies only to the hardware and any repair or replacement will not include any data or software which was stored in the defective unit.
The warranty is the only remedy available to the customer and PICS Telecom will not be liable for any other damages.
