  1. Product Classification and Shipment

Before shipping any used electronic equipment or components containing Focus Materials (FMs), whether domestically or internationally, PICS Telecom will classify each shipment in accordance with R2v3 standards as one of the following:

  1. Tested for Full Functions, R2v3/Ready for Reuse
  2. Tested for Key Functions, R2v3/Ready for Resale
  3. Evaluated and Non-Functioning, R2v3/Ready for Repair

All classifications will be clearly identified prior to shipment.

  1. Definition of Refurbished Equipment

Refurbished equipment” refers to previously used telecom network hardware that has been inspected, tested, and repaired (where necessary) by PICS Telecom to ensure it is functioning properly and meets the standards required for reuse or resale.

  1. Novas contas

All new accounts are subject to approval by PICS Telecom International’s Finance Department.
Receipt of a purchase order prior to account approval does not guarantee acceptance or fulfillment.

To establish a credit account, Buyers must submit a completed credit application. Financial statements may be requested in lieu of a credit application at PICS Telecom’s discretion.

All relevant sales tax or VAT exemption certificates should be provided at the time of application or order placement. To avoid delay, first-time Buyers may be asked to provide advance payment or use alternate payment methods depending on their location.

  1. Preços e cotações

All prices are quoted on a per-order basis and are subject to change without notice.
Quotations are valid only for the period stated and may be withdrawn or amended by PICS Telecom prior to written acceptance of the Buyer’s purchase order.

  1. Condições de pagamento

All payments are due in accordance with the agreed net terms from the invoice date, subject to credit approval.
Warranty coverage is only valid if payment has been received in full as per the agreed terms.

Failure to make payment when due may result in suspension of future deliveries until all outstanding balances are cleared.

  1. Freight, Title, and Risk of Loss

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all shipments are made FOB (Free on Board) point of origin from PICS Telecom’s warehouse.

Freight charges may be prepaid by PICS Telecom and added to the invoice, and the Buyer agrees to reimburse these charges.
PICS Telecom reserves the right to determine the shipping origin, method, and routing unless otherwise specified in writing.

  • Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Buyer upon delivery of goods to the carrier.
  • Title transfers to the Buyer upon receipt of full payment for the equipment.
  1. Entrega

Any delivery dates provided, verbally or in writing, are estimates only. PICS Telecom will make every effort to meet delivery expectations but shall not be liable for delays or any resulting consequential loss.

Buyers must inspect shipments immediately upon receipt. Any shortages, damage, or visible defects must be reported in writing within five (5) business days of delivery.
Failure to report within this period constitutes full acceptance of goods and waiver of claims.

  1. Taxes and Duties

All sales, use, VAT, import, or other taxes associated with the purchase are the Buyer’s responsibility.

  • For UK and EU customers: VAT will be applied where required by law, unless a valid exemption certificate is provided.
  • For US and international customers: no sales tax will be billed if valid exemption documentation is received.
  1. Warranty Policy

9.1 Standard Warranty

All equipment supplied by PICS Telecom is covered by a comprehensive standard warranty, unless otherwise stated on the quotation or invoice.
If no warranty is specified, equipment is sold “as is” with all defects included.

The warranty period begins on the date of shipment and applies only to the original purchaser. It is non-transferable.

During the warranty period, PICS Telecom will, at its discretion:

  • Replace defective equipment;
  • Provide an equivalent refurbished replacement;
  • Repair the item; or
  • Issue a refund or account credit if replacement or repair is not commercially feasible.

9.2 Regional Warranty (PICS EMEA and Global)

PICS Telecom provides a standard 1-year advanced replacement warranty for all equipment sold, applicable globally (including EMEA, North America, APAC, and LATAM).
Extended warranty options are available—please contact your Account Manager for details.

This warranty guarantees that, within the specified one-year period, any product that proves defective or fails under normal use will be replaced with a similar refurbished unit.
PICS Telecom will cover the return shipping costs for the defective unit, provided the Buyer cooperates with the return process.

9.3 Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Software or software-related issues
  • Physical damage caused by misuse, negligence, or mishandling
  • Electrical damage (e.g., power surges, lightning, or incorrect voltage)
  • Environmental damage, improper storage, or unauthorized modification
  • Normal wear and tear beyond reasonable usage

Warranty is valid only if payment has been received in full under the agreed payment terms.

  1. Return Policy

Any returns due to physical defects must be reported to PICS Telecom within 30 days (or 45 days for EMEA customers) from acceptance of goods.
Failure to report defects within this period will void warranty coverage.

All returns must follow the authorized Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
Once an RMA number is issued, a replacement unit may be shipped immediately. If the defective item is not received by PICS Telecom within 30 days, the Buyer will be invoiced for the replacement.

Return shipping for defective products is covered by PICS Telecom.
If testing confirms that the returned unit meets manufacturer specifications, inspection or restocking fees may apply.

  1. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PICS Telecom be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of use
  • Loss of profits
  • Interruption of business
  • Injury to goodwill or reputation

PICS Telecom’s total liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the equipment in question.

All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed unless otherwise required by law.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and all related transactions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

  1. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Sale constitute the entire agreement between PICS Telecom and the Buyer regarding the sale of refurbished or new equipment.
They supersede all prior written or verbal agreements or understandings.

No amendment, modification, or waiver will be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of PICS Telecom.
